INSTRUCTIONS
1

Begin by halving each chicken breast ( as evenly as possible for even cooking)

2

Along with one cup of water, add halved chicken breasts and pickle juice to a sandwich bag or bowl and brine the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

3

While chicken is brining, prepare chic-fil-a sauce. Blend sauce ingredients well and set aside for final step.

4

Prepare the breading. Whisk all dry breading ingredients together and set aside for frying. ***NOTE*** The extra cayenne pepper is for a spicy version of this sandwich! adjust as needed.

5

Prepare a wet batter for the chicken breasts. Blend milk and egg well and set aside.

6

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat frying oil to high heat (350 degrees F).

7

Begin coating each chicken breast . Start by dredging the chicken (one at a time!) in the wet batter (milk and egg mixture) and then moving to breading mixture (flour and seasoning). Repeat this process once more for each chicken breast and set aside for frying

8

Fry each piece of chicken for about 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temp of each piece reaches 165 degrees (F).

9

Set fried chicken breast to rest for 5 minutes, then assemble each sandwich with lettuce, tomato slices pickles and cheese (as desired) Don't forget that sauce! And Enjoy!
