EQUIPMENT
 9 inch Tube Cake Pan
INGREDIENTS
 5 ea. Large Eggs room temp
 3 sticks Butter softened
 3 cps. Sugar
 3 cps. Cake Flour (Pillsbury SoftaSilk works GREAT)
 3/4 cp. 7 Up Soda room temp
 2 tbs. Lemon Extract
INSTRUCTIONS

Spray or grease and flour a 9 inch tube pan. Preheat to 350 degrees.

In an electric mixer on medium speed, mix the sugar and softened butter until smooth.

Next add in the eggs, one at a time. Mix until smooth. Add the flour and continue to mix until a smooth batter forms.

Lastly, slowly pour in the 7 Up until smooth and in the lemon extract.

Carefully pour the batter into the floured pan. Line the outside bottom of the tube pan with foil to prevent spills while baking. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Allow to cool for 30 minutes to 1 hour and serve as desired. Enjoy!
